Perfectly situated on the banks of famous grand canal overlooking the lock gates at Charlemont Bridge, the Barge is something of an institution and favourite with Dubliner’s who for generations have enjoyed a great pint, good food and above all great craic on the waterfront.
The Barge is set on two main levels, the upper atrium level is designated to incorporate the maximum amount of natural light, while the lower level offers a cozy and more intimate setting. There are four main bars located within the pub so that service is always fast and efficient. In the early evening the Barge attracts a well-heeled crowd from the surrounding offices. By night it takes on a party atmosphere where you can boogie the night away with Dj’s cruising through hits from the 60’s to date. The Barge is open late seven nights a week.
